Food
The Riverside- Nice view, great live band, good food
Hong Tauw Inn ( Nimmanhaemin Area) really delicious, lunch 240baht for 2 inc drinks
The Gallery - Lovely location right on the river, traditional music, lovely food, (which we washed down with a jug of pineapple daiquiris
Jungle Kingdom, beautiful setting, buffet or a la carte, I think the chef is from Israel or maybe I have remembered that incorrectly
Aroon Rai - so so tasty, dinner for 2 for 170 baht, amazing
Night Market area and walking market street stalls (really good)
Antique House - lovely old house with traditional music in courtyard, again fabulous food
Raming Tea House- also lovely old building, graet fruit drinks (not quite so sweet) good food, cute shops inside, you can have high tea here
Gekko bar - great for cocktails++, food average
That%26#39;s all I can remember (+ unfortunately we could only fit in 3 meals a day so ran out of time for more)
The food here is truly wonderful and so cheap.
We absolutely loved Chiang Mai and if the world was not so big and wonderful and if there were not so many as yet unexplored (by us) places, we would absolutely be regulars!
Now we are back - Part 3
Thanks for sharing you trip report.

Hi Lynn,
Thanks for your list of eating places, where is Aroon Roi and also Antique House?
We have eaten at the Gallery and the Riverside.
Is the Raming Tea House the same as the Siam Celadon Tea House?
Cheers,
Stewie.
