My sister and I started out wanting to do a sailing tour around Langkawi but changed our minds. We were also going to spend time in K.L. but decided instead to do a tour in Thailand. Friends had done a tour with Suzy of %26#39;Sanook Shopping Asia%26#39; I dont really know why they call themselves this as we didnt really just shop. I have been to Bangkok many times but never Chiang Mai.
My sister and I loved it there, Suzy knew all of the great places to eat and shop. I liked the fact that the two people leading the tour are both good with English (Suzy is an Aussie).
Our group was small in number only 5 people but we all got on well together. I like the fact that you also have free time to do your own thing but the driver is always there for you to take you around.
At one time we had a couple join us on the tour as they do a tagalong tour type of thing also. The price ended up being so much cheaper than they advertise on the website. We stayed at Kantary Hills Resort and the area which it is located is great for bars,shopping etc.
I%26#39;m definitely going again as they are doing KL and Penang next year.
