staying in dusit thani for 2 days.which is the best mode to reach mbk and pratumum area for shopping.wat r the other attractions nearby this hotel.pls advice.

Outside the hotel, about 1 minute walk you%26#39;ll see Saladaeng BTS (skytrain station) above the road. Ride the train to National Stadium and MBK is right there linked by a short walkway. To reach the malls like Siam Paragon, Central World etc, get off at Siam Station. For Pratunam, you could ride the train to Rajdamri and get a taxi from there - traffic will be heavy and slow moving. Alternatively, get off at Siam, take the skywalk through into CEntral World, exit Central World at the Isetan end, walk across the canal bridge and then the big intersection, and the market area is on your left just past the intersection.
The Dusit Thani is located on the corner of Rama 4 Road and Silom Road. If you cross Rama 4 Road you can enter Lumpini Park and watch the monitor lizards wandering around, then further along Rama 4 past the park is Suan Lum night bazaar.
In Silom Road, on the opposite side from the Dusit and running right down the road is another night market, best after 8pm.
