We plan to visit Bangkok in May but aren%26#39;t sure if it%26#39;s too hot there then. Please kindly advise.

It%26#39;s always hot in Bangkok, just make sure you wear light clothing, and carry a bottle of water when out shopping.

It will be hot and sultry with (probable) brief periods of rain to cool things down a bit. Expect temperatures into the mid 30%26#39;s.

Being the quiet season, you can expect much cheaper rates for accommodation and a lot less ';tourists';. Remember there%26#39;s always an air conditioned bar, restaurant, shopping centre, taxi, massage, beauty salon, hotel pool, etc to pop in to (nearby) when you need to chill.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your replies. We took our son along in Vietnam on our recent holiday and he was fine, so we%26#39;ll do just the same in Thailand.

Cheers
