Hi,
My friends and I are looking for a nice hotel to stay in (3-5 star rating) Bangkok for a couple of nights from December 22-24th, and were wondering if anyone has any recommendations? We are looking for a happening, lively place in a good area of town, preferrably with young people, that won%26#39;t be too expensive ( I have no idea what the costs of hotels are that time of year so I want to make sure we don%26#39;t get ripped off)... Thanks so much!
Hotel Recommendations for 5 in Bangkok?
Its peak season when rates are at their highest, and many hotels will already be starting to fill up. This place is new and aimed at a young crowd: http://www.glitzbangkok.com/ but any hotel in Silom, lower Sukhumvit, Ploenchit or Siam areas would be good for easy access to the skytrain, and Metro, for getting to bars and clubs in Silom, Sukhumvit Soi 11, Rachadapisek Sois 4-8, RCA etc.
Take a look through the hotel reviews here on TA and then check rates n any of th online booking services such as sawasdee.com, agoda.com and asiarooms.com
Hotel Recommendations for 5 in Bangkok?
Thanks a lot dragnoc
Dragnoc,
so it appears that the gitzbangkok hotel you recommended is already unfortuantely sold out... We are looking for a hotel which is hip, close to the center of the nightlife and easy access to pplacces (the regions you mentioned above)- do you have any other specific hotel recommendations? We can pay up to $200-300 a night...
Anotehr person recommended Le Fenix hotel, but that is also sold out.. Thank you
