TA Get Togethers 2009/10

Hi Khao Lak Lovers.

Earlier this year when we were both in Khao Lak, Julie (Jenson) and I organised a couple of get togethers with fellow TA Members who were also in KL at the time. Although only small groups a very enjoyable time was had by all.

We thought it would be good to arrange more such social evenings when either or both of us are there again or even when we are not.

So if members who are going to stay in Khao Lak (or even want to pop over from Phuket - Julie did!) and want to get together for an evening post your names, or just TA name,and where and when you are staying. I%26#39;ve made a Calendar showing who is where and when and I will keep it upto date as people add to this thread.

When you post information I will send you a PM with a link to where you can download and view the Calendar.

Mrs A and I will be returning to KL from 1st December 2009 to 16th April 2010 so I will suggest some dates during that time based on the numbers staying at particular times but nothing to stop anyone PMing each other to do their own thing.

The suggested venue is once again the Everyday Restaurant and Bar as it is mid-way between Bang La On and Bang Niang where most people stay. It has a great restaurant and bar/garden and occasional ';live mic'; nights where you can join into the live music and show of your skills - or try to!

Any dates for March/April? would love to go to one of your get togethers, and the Everyday Bar sounds great, of course I will have to have that mic and sing my rendition of Im a Rhinstone Cowboy but seriously i hope it becomes a popular venture.

There are certainly people already in the Calendar for March/April next year - well there were until they heard about the Rhinestone Cowboy!! LOL

What a great idea !

We%26#39;d love to be counted in and will be visiting Khao Lak from 12 - 18 November.

It will be our first visit to the Andaman coast of Thailand, having been to Koh Phangan ( loved it !) a couple of years ago.

We haven%26#39;t booked yet but have shortlisted a few for now and will wait for last minute bookings about a month out. Hope that%26#39;s wise, or will we miss out on everywhere nice ?

Thanks for letting us know but we%26#39;re interested in those TA meembes who do want to meet up and socialise when they are in Khao Lak. Hope you enjoy your trip.
