HI

I have booked a day trip with Tong in early December but unfortunately Tong won%26#39;t be available. She has offered her other guides - Kung, Pook %26amp; Tom. Has anyone used any of these guides and if so what did you think?

Hi, we used Pook who was brilliant. She spoke good english, taught us some thai, kept us refreshed with cool towels and drinks etc all day, and was very knowledgable about the places we visited. We can%26#39;t recommend her highly enough.

I had Kung and she was fantastic , i also got to meet Tong at the Railway |market as well. She is lovely. But i was truely happy with Kung.

Kung was a lovely woman , excellent English, really friendly and at the end of the day i felt she was a good friend, we went to the tiger temple and she became chief photographer taking just under 300 photos with us and the cubs and she got into positons that i will never get into again to get the most amazing footage.

Id say her guides in term of ages are in their 30%26#39;s and older so have a lot of knowledge and experience .

She couldnt have done enough for her, to be honest i think Tong picks her guide really well and as a result offers a fantastic experience.

I don%26#39;t think it matters who you have from Tong%26#39;s team. They all seem to be very good. I can%26#39;t recall who we had earlier this year, but they were excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Reclining seats in the sedan, refreshments and cool towels etc. You will not be disappointed.

we havew just returned from Bangkok and were lucky enough to have Tong for both days but in saying that we did meet some of her other guides on the way they all seemed lovely. I think that all her guides are good as Tong has a reputation she wants to uphold.

Hi, I%26#39;m just wondering what date you want from Tong, because we have two days booked with her in the beginning of the second week with her? I am waiting to hear from her to see what we can do (don%26#39;t know if she will get back to us or not :( ), so I%26#39;m not sure if we want to keep the two days or not. If not, maybe you might want our second day, or might want to join us on either of the days that we have with her?

Have you heard from her recently? I really want to finalize our plans with her, but it is so hard to get in touch with her...

In Bangkok now, and were meant to be going on a one day tour with a member of her team tomorrow, but she never got back to me regarding payment.

(And yes, I know she may be very busy as she runs the company herself etc etc, but she%26#39;ll run out of customers one day if she keeps ignoring people who want to use her sevice).

Kamistis - thank you for your kind offer but unforunately we will only be in Bankok from 1st - 3rd December. I actually got hold of Tong last night (about 11pm BKK time) but it wasn%26#39;t a detailed reply or anything!

I was lucky enough to do the Fishermans Village last year with Tong (great day out). This year we would like to visit Bridge Over the River Kwai, ride on Death Railway and visit the War Cemetery.........do you think it%26#39;s worth the money and time just to see these?? I%26#39;m not into Tiger Temple and we don%26#39;t want to go Elephant Riding as we are doing thid in Chiang Mai.

We have finally managed to book a tour with tong tours but don%26#39;t know who we%26#39;ll be having as a guide as she hasn%26#39;t told us. It has been hard work and frustrating as her emails don%26#39;t answer all questions and are often confusing and sometimes seem a bit abrupt. I am assuming they pick you up from your hotel - does anyone know? - haven%26#39;t been told yet. Just hope the tour is going to be worth all the frustration! We stuck with her because we didn%26#39;t get a reply from any other tour companies we emailed - so I suppose we should count ourselves lucky!

Yes, the guide will pick you up from your hotel. From what I can remember last time, Tong will send you a confirmation email once the deposit has been made will pick up times ect. Hope this helps.

Mclal--once we got the deposit info and made our deposit, we got a confirmation number and the name of our guide, and confirmed that we%26#39;ll be picked up at our hotel.

Anyone have any experience with Nang? That%26#39;s our guide, and I haven%26#39;t seen the name pop up anywhere!!
