jbr 4 wonderful days.

Only had 4 days in Patong this trip, we went to Maylasia a couple of months ago so this was just a very quick R and R.

Arrived at The Duangjitt Resort about 9.30 pm absolutely buggared. Had spent the day strolling the streets of KL.

Have stayed at the Duangjitt before and loved it, we were not disappointed this time either, it is a lovely resort away from the crowds with probably one of the best pools in patong (it actually has 3 pools)

Woke the next morning to a glorious day had a coffee on the balcony and soaked up the atmosphere while hubby snored on.

Walked along the beach and watched the fisherman hauling in there load then headed back for brekkie.

Spent most the day around the pool just relaxing and so that went for the next 3 days.

Didnt do alot at all, spent the days around the pool walking shopping and of course eating.

Massage

Had a foot massage on beach fairly average but hey for $5 who cares

Had a facial in junceylon $10

best massage we had was down stairs in Junceylon at Mantra, very clean professional and very good.

all in all again it was a fantastic holiday. I actually thought i would be over Patong after this trip , but no I actually cant wait to go back again in May.

Weather

Only rained on our last day. from about 8am - 11am

There is still so much to do and places to go, I cant believe how big it is getting though, there is still so many new places springing up. Last year here wasnt anything out the front of the Duangjitt, now there is a whole new plaza of shops and bars.

They actually do a fabulous take away cocktail out the front of the Duangjitt with or without alcohol for 30bht or 70 bht,

Wish I was still there, but hey only 7 months to go.............

Deb

jbr 4 wonderful days.

Hi Deb,

Thanks for your trip report.

Only a short trip but sounds like you enjoyed yourself.

Where is the Bushrangers Restaurant?

Cheers,

Stewie.

jbr 4 wonderful days.

Thanks for your trip report which validates our desires to visit Thailand. How was Malaysia for you?

Hey Deb, Thanks for the report. Good to see you back on the forum and back in Phuket!

We are off in December so can%26#39;t wait, but don%26#39;t see much relaxing happening with our crew.

I may pop over to Djuangitt and have a squizz, keep hearing good things but always forget about getting quotes for there.

Is Bushrangers new? I haven%26#39;t heard of it before.

Take care, Sue

Hi guys

Bushrangers is an Aussie bar (no surprise with a name like that) its just across the road from the markets next to Junceylon, we have been there every visit.

Hobbitew - we loved Malaysia especially K.L. it has a different feel to Thailand.

Penang was a bit too quiet for our liking but still nice.

We prefer the Thai food and just love the vibe of Patong. You can get right in the swing of nightlife or totally avoid it and just chill out, it has something for everyone.

Hi Sue

Yes it was a short stay but probaly one of the most relaxing and enjoyable

Hope all is well with you, I see you have been jetsetting to a few different places. Good to hear from you

I just wanna go back again now

Deb

Thanks for your report, sounds like a good 4 days Deb, Bushrangers Bar %26amp; Grill do a good mixed grill as well.

Cathy

DD - what level of room did you stay in ? How was it ?

Gismo, do yourself a favour and if you visit Duangjitt, walk through their spa area gardens (they wont mind). It%26#39;s on your left as you enter the hotel, long before reception. In fact, at the end of the driveway, walk to your right and see just how big the biggest pool is. It makes the big pool at Patong Merlin look like a puddle.
