Is there any accommodation in Kata in right on the beach except Katathani Beach Resort?

Thanks Jenson. I have take a look at both of your suggestion. Mom Boathouse are totally out of my budget because the rates are about the same with Katathani. Most of the resort doesnt come with any package for March 2010 yet. Is it because its too early or usually hotel don%26#39;t have any promotion package on High Season?

Kata Beach resort is right on the beach. The grounds and pool are not as good as Katathani, but it is a nice hotel in a more convenient location. It%26#39;s in the heart of Kata Beach, where all the shops and restaurants are located. Katathani is on Kata Noi beach, a kilometre or two away.

Friends stayed at KBR this year in May and got a pay 2 stay 3 deal, which for a deluxe (sea view) room worked out to be about 2800 baht per night, including breakfast. You must stay in a deluxe room there if you want a view.

I%26#39;m pretty sure KBR has these pay/stay deals every year, but I don%26#39;t remember seeing one before mid April.

Places like Kata Palm (5? minute walk from the beach) have pay/stay (or other) deals every year that work out really cheap. I%26#39;d rather pay a bit more and be right on the beach, but it gets down to what it%26#39;s worth to you. 1,000 baht per night goes a long way in Phuket.
