I would have been travelling for about a month by the time it%26#39;s christmas day and I am looking to head to Krabi where I will meet my girlfriend and my brother and his girlfriend on boxing day. I%26#39;d just like to hear what I can expect from christmas day alone in Ao Nang Krabi as it%26#39;s my first time travelling and i will be alone until boxing day.
Christmas day alone in Ao Nang, Krabi - Advice??
Christmas is wonderful in Krabi,The streets are busy and tourists from all corners of the globe are about. The main drag in Aonang runs parallel to the beach so the back drop is ever present.Thru out the evening ceremonial laterns are released creating a sea of light resembling orange jelly fish in the sky.Krabi is more family and backpacker friendly than say Samui or Phuket.I loved it.Hope this helps.
Christmas day alone in Ao Nang, Krabi - Advice??
I wonder if any of you know that, before Ao Nang was developed, it had a pink beach? The colour was a result of the crushed shells that produced the beach. At that time the only building was a small wooden hotel. Once the developers started, the beach was destroyed. Big shame. Anyway, enjoy your Christmas!
Once upon a time New York was a squalor and London was gas lit..Its the reasponsiblity of the local authorities to make sure appropriate developement is erected,Or do Thais blame tourists for inapproprite developement?..But they like the $$$$.
hi, ill be arriving in krabi on christmas day this year, and looking to find a nice cheap place to spend the night on a beach. where would be good for a 30 year old solo traveller? is accommodation easy to find? thx
Hi, I have found a place called Ao Nang Friendly Bungalows which seems ok. It%26#39;s about a 5 - 10 minute walk from the beach and closer to shops etc apparently. This is where i%26#39;m thinking of staying.
