nobody can tell you how many hours a day it will rain on any given day in november but november is the wettest month of the year..so yes expect rain.

we have been twice to koh samui in November and it was sunny alot of the time with a few heavy downpours but did not ruin our stay.

February: 2006 the sun came out on 15th of Feb. after a desasterous November 2005. 2007 February was like in the books. 2008 Feb. was surprisingly raining quite a lot, 2009 was fine again. November: 2005 as said, 2006 was nice, 2007 and 2008 quite normal - rain that stopped after a short while of one or two hours. 2009 ? We are waiting for some rain now in October! In the moment we have perfect conditions for tourists, sun and again sun. But the island is needing rainwater.
