Guys, i%26#39;ll be going to Phuket from 28th Dec -30th Dec. Tried surfing many of the more affordable hotels but its all fully taken up.
Actually i%26#39;ve been searching around Kata beach area because i%26#39;ve heard Patong beach is a ';red light district'; area??
Any other beachs/hotels that i can look into that offers sea spports?

HELP - Hotels at reasonable pricesHi,
What%26#39;s your budget more or less per evening?
Patong has become a family oriented locale WITH a red light district. Mostly Patong is shopping and eating and regular massage. At night, pretty young girls replace the regular massage ladies on the street and offer another sort of massage, but apart from Bangla Rd, it%26#39;s not overt.
Everywhere is more expensive on those dates. Sawadee.com has a good list of hotels you can sort by price:

or try this:

It totally helped! Booked Surin Sabai Condominium for 3 nights at THB 7500 per twin sharing room.
Now i%26#39;m trying to find out what%26#39;s the down side for them offering so good prices.. :P
