Tropical Murphy's and live music venues

Hey,

Wondering if anyone has been to Tropical Murphy%26#39;s bar in Chaweng recently?!If so did they have some good bands and does the filipino band ovada still play there? Any other good live music venues in Chaweng/Lamai that anyone has come across during their travels!?

Any advice will be gratefully received :-)

Yep - I%26#39;m not long back from Samui and Trop Murphys have music on every night. Ovada still on there too.

The guys who own it have also opened up another place over the road - just near McDonalds - called Coyote. It has bands on too.

There are a few Coyotes areound that bit of Asia and we checked out the one in Bangkok but felt it was a bit souless - nowhere near as good as Samui.
