Can anyone suggest a good place to buy a cheap, even second hand mobile phone in the Krabi area? We will be there in about 10 days time staying first at Ao Nang to ko Lanta and then to southern Laos and finish in Meleka, Malayasia - 4 weeks in all. A phone that will work in Thai, Laos and Malayasia would be good. I realise that I will have to buy local sim cards.

mobile phonethere are a few phone shops in aonang. Failing that, head to Big C or Tesco. You can pick up a new Nokia/Samsung for about 700 Baht
