Hi Guys,
I just wanted to check what the bangkok emergency services number is? I have a light nut allergy so knowing these things in advance is quite important.
I found a site that said it is 1554 just checking if this is true/false?!
Emergency Numbers
Take a look here:

asiarooms.com/travel-guide/thailand/bangkok/…
There is no public ambulance service as such. Each hospital operates its own ambulance which mostly have regular phone numbers.

Wow that%26#39;s confusing, though thanks anyway dragonc.
Is there any one number for that would be the best to write down?
If your ';light'; nut allergy my require hospitalization, you would be wise to discuss the use of an Epipen with your doctor. Besides not having a centralized EMT network, Bangkok%26#39;s traffic makes sending an ambulance, and getting you back, a logistical nightmare.
Another number that you might find useful if you have a Thai sim card simply dial *1021
It is a free Thai translation service, you just pay the normal phone rate. Worked for us recently when our car broke down in Krabi.
Called the number and explained our problem to the translator. The translator then repeated our conversation to the mechanic.
Happy %26amp; safe travels
Bob
