Hi All,
Im just about to book up to go to koh samui, but dont know who to book with? Does anyone have any ideas? such as thomson or first choice? anyone from london/england been, and who you book with??
Thanks all.
Mike.
who to book with?
We%26#39;ve always booked with Kuoni and they%26#39;ve got some really good deals for Thailand at the moment such as free nights in hotels or upgraded rooms. They also fly with scheduled airlines (more legroom in the seats - 34 inches). Trailfinders is another good company for long haul and again, they have some pretty good deals on at the moment for Thailand.
Companies such as Thompsons and Firstchoice are ok but often use Charter Airlines which are cramped enough flying short haul (28-29 inches). They%26#39;d be a living hell for a long haul flight.
who to book with?
I%26#39;ve been to Thailand 3 times now and never booked through a tour operator as I%26#39;ve found it considerably cheaper to book everything myself.
There are some great flight deals with Etihad right now and www.sawadee.com is great for hotel bookings.
Internal flights are very cheap with Bangkok Airways.
Hi,
I have always booked via a travel agent who uses a compnay called if Onlt, however they only take booking from agents, this year however I have booked using Hayes and Jarvis the prices are fantastic if you book on line, they do go up and down on a daily basis but if you think the price is good book it. I paid £500 per head less by checking over a period of about a week to see if there were changes to have. They use schedueld airlines too, so much better with much more flexibiliy. If you want a 2 centre trip ie Bangkok and Ko samui then you will need to call them, they say the discounts are only for online customers but we got it just by asking for it.
Good luck.
Try a few online travel agents such netflights.com, destinology, Best@travel.
