I will be travelling with my husband and 7 year old daughter to Thailand and want to stay in Koh Samui for about 4 nights. Chaweng seems to have the nicest beach from what I have read and is the area that appeals to me most. However, I am wondering how in your face the girls/bars during the evening are as on holiday we tend to go out to eat late and also have a wonder round for a bit sometimes after dinner. The girls would not bother me or my husband at all if we did not have my daughter with us, but I am wondering whether she would see things a young child should not see. From what I have read lots of people do go to Chaweng with young children, so am I being overly concerned??

I would like to say thank you for your reply, but the tone and over the top comments you have made are stopping me from thanking you. Maybe you should take some time to consider the contributions you are making before hitting the reply button.

And will respect you and your husband as well, trust me !
Clemina,
I personally didn%26#39;t think your questions were at all ';stupid'; - just the questions any responsible parent should ask - why can%26#39;t members be a little more friendly on this site?
Good luck with your hunt - happy travelling.

I agree with the previous poster

Oops.I agree with poster no 4
Why was my previous post removed? Exactly WHAT guidlines have I deemed to have broken? Thats fine but I stand by the fact all I did was reply to question that was asked on a public forum. I dont find my 1st reply ';rude'; nor the comments ';over the top'; and as for my contirbution being in question, I thought I clearly advised where the scary, child corrupting bars the thread starter was soooooo concerned about are located.
Get over yourself
