How easy is it to get cash from an ATM machine or bank, i am travelling in Nov and do not want to have alot of cash on me, or is easier to take travellers cheques. I am visiting Bangkok and phuket

Hi trag Phuket it very easy to get cash from ATM they are many ATM machine At seven eleven every where Have a good holiday/

Just as easy as home!

Just make sure you have the word cirrus on you cards. My Visa card didnt have it so I couldnt get cash, out so I got an extra hanycard.

I changed sterling at the airport in Bangkok. There are money changing booths all over Bangkok and Phuket, in street corners even at places like Karon, shopping malls etc.

ATMs are also widespread.
