Where's the rainy season?

May be of interest to anyone undecided as to whether to come to Koh Chang or not in the near future. But the weather has been exceptionally good so far this %26#39;rainy%26#39; season.

There has been rain of course, but barely any really wet, grey days. The majority of days consist of a mix of sunshine and light cloud with the odd brief shower.

Yesterday and today were two of the nicest days you could wish for - as good as any High Season days, with bright sunshine, a light sea breeze, calm %26amp; clear sea and empty beaches.

Of course there%26#39;s no guarantee this weather will last . . . so head here soon.

Where's the rainy season?

Hmmmmmmm ....

Where's the rainy season?

Always fancied going to Koh Chang bit I%26#39;ve always been put off a bit by the rainy season, as we can only take our holidays in August.

Glad to hear it%26#39;s nice though! I%26#39;m not jealous at all ;-)

Cloudy this morning and the sea got rougher yesterday afternoon.

Very rough sea now but still no rain for 4 days. It%26#39;s turning into a drought. :-)

And less than 2 minutes after I type that it%26#39;s starts to drizzle.

It%26#39;s 12:30 now and already raining all day long. Not too heavily though.

Dry for the past 4 hours....

For some time-lapse images from KC%26#39;s only webcam, take a look here wunderground.com/webcams/…cal

Very heavy for the last 3 hours :-)

Methinks you spoke too soon!

Massive water consumption on Koh Chang and lots of rain but no conservation of water....recipe for disaster.

10:45 and torrential rain here. Woke up at dawn from rain banging on the roof and rain did not stop since then.

khunwilko, they are building a dam in Klong Prao, enough water for many new resorts :-(
