Best Bungalows in Koh Jum?

Hi Guys,

I%26#39;ve just about finished planning my trip to the Krabi area in February (with much help from this great forum), and the last dilemna is which bungalow to book at Koh Jum.

We%26#39;re planning on spending a week there, and looking for a nice beachfront bungalow with a porch, relatively quiet, nice beach, under 1000baht per night.

Which of these do you think is the best:

1) New Bungalows

2) Joy Bungalows

3) Ting Rai Bay

4) Old Lamp

5) Luboa

6) Other..

BTW Does anyone know if they have electricity on the island yet? I hope not..

Just to answer your last question, yes electricity has arrived on the island, however it is so expensive for bungalows to connect to the power lines that run along the island road, that most that are any distance from the road will not bother and stick with generators for the evenings, ie most of the Andaman beach ones (Andaman beach resort runs it%26#39;s generator most of the day btw), same is true for the northern beaches. It will mostly affect the villages and not the west coast.

You won%26#39;t get a beachfront at Joy for 1000B, you might at New, certainly on the northern beaches you can get a seaview for that or less in some cases
