Which hotel?

Okay so we have decided on Patong instead of Karon beach. Now for booking the hotel. We have narrowed it down to the following: The Mercure

Millennium Resort

Novotel

Amari coral beach

Hilton phuket arcardia resort and spa

Merlin patong

Any thoughts?

Im staying at the Mercure in Nov for four nights, Ive used there pool before its a lovely hotel and not in the heart of Patong but walking distance. Ive also stayed at the Amari Coral Beach and thats also a lovely hotel, but not sure about walking back upto it when gone down to Patong, bit of a hill and in that heat. The Merlin is also very nice, not stayed there but gone through the grounds. Hilton Arcadia is that in Karon ? Hope this helps

Thoughts, yes. As the previous poster implied, geography is not your strong point.

I would recommend the Mercure any day it is great value and location and great pool am going back next year, works out 100p/n inc breakfast AUD in high season, u can get for less in low.

I%26#39;ve been to Phuket 10 times over the years. Did you look at Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort?

It would leave all th eothers for dead. It%26#39;s close to Patong $4 by Tuk tuk or taxi. It has the best beach on the island and the facilities are great.

It might cost a bit more but it is worth it.
